JPA Interview TIPS

If u have grabbed a chance to interview with JPA, please don't give up it.
It's a golden chance, you r lucky if u gt it.

PREPARATION
1st step :
MUST download the borang pengesahan gaji ibu bapa and the slip temu duga.
Slip temu duga will give you a lot of infomartion about
1. What to bring, how to arrange the file..
2. Yr interview details

2nd step :
U have to make photocopy of some documents.
You r required to VERIFY it. (how)
1. Get your former secondary school's CHOP, get your principal's SIGNATURE (I did)
2. Or go the police station and get the endorsement?

3rd step :
Arrange your files in order in a clear holder. Don't insert photocopy of documents into the file, either clip them or staple.
Do according the instruction, don't pandai2 insert your primary school's cert as they just ask for f4 and f5.

4th step :
Do some research on current issues (Don't memorize an essay, it's silly) get some points, jot them down, and understand it. Issues not only related to youths only, please, it can be any issue, including politically issue.

5th step :
GOOGLE MAP, check out your interview location. Estimate the time, the trip.

THE DAY OF THE INTERVIEW 


1st step : your attire
For a man : long sleeves plain shirt, plain slacks, a tie(better), a belt(I didn't wear, but if u do will be better), dark color leather shoes. FORMAL WEAR.
For a young woman : Baju kurung enough laaaa :D You can wear like an OL too.
If you want to be special, you can get a blazer/coat, it can impress everyone there. LOL..

2nd step : your file
Last checking la !

3rd step : Leave earlier from your house. Who knows u will sesat or not?
If your interview session starts on 11:55am sharp, please be there before 1 hour or earlier.
It's better than u late, and u start panic, and u will cry.

4th step : Reach there, go to the signboard (if u don't know, PLEASE ask, it doesn't harm)
check your NAME, your PANEL, your IC, and your TIME.
Sign it(MUST !)
And check the people who are going to sit the interview with you.
U r not going to do it solo, but with few more people together.
My group contains 5 candidates, including myself.
If you are lucky(or not), u gonna do it with 8 people together.
Depends.

5th : Go to the place that they u to.
Wait outside the panel's room quietly (U thought only u got the JPA interview mehh)
BE FRIEND WITH THE *HUMAN*.
Don't be so cool. I did that last time, they thought I was nervous. LOL
TALK TO THEM. MAKE FRIENDS.
They wont kill u or either eat u zz !

6th : Submit your clear folder to the clerk who usually you can find her outside the panel's room. (ask her whether u arrange it properly)

7th : OKAY ! Enter into the room.
Before that, IF U R LUCKY NUMBER ONE, knock the door please, get the sign *you may enter* from the panels in the room, ONLY you open the door softly and ask "MAY WE ENTER?"
They won't answer u " NO WAY, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED." So dun worry.

8th : GREEEEEEEET the panels ! Shake hands too? Yes, if u wan to do so, it can impress the panels.

9th : Before you sit, ask for permission.(I forgot to do this last time hahahaha)

10th : Sit in a polite way, don't shake your legs, don't cross yr legs, don't ever do anything stupid.

11th : Usually there will be three interviewers. The middle one talks the most.

12th : Introduction - Usually in BM.
your name, where u birth, your family details, your co-curricular activities.
I saw some people even listed out what they have done in primary school, and i don't think it's necessary.

13th : Group discussion (I didn't conduct it, because the panels din make it, don't ask me why, it's random)
If got : The group discussion will be around 3-5 minutes, you ppl have to discuss a topic that given by the panels. The panels will actually observe how you guys conduct the discussion.
KEY POINT : Lead the group discussion, Make everyone talks, Jot down the points and make a conclusion, Participating in the discussion. ALL THIS ADD MARKS !
If you r the only who talks, or if u nvr talk at all, BAD IMPRESSION.

14th : Personal questions
Answer what they ask properly and carefully, don't show your dominating personality, it kills marks.
Answer in a moderate way, show that u respect the panels so to your friends too.

15th : Q&A session. You can ask the panels if you have any question. Don't be shy, high quality of questions which can impress the panels will do add marks, who knows?

15th : Before leaving, please thank them. If can, shake hands too. Wish them 1 MALAYSIA hahaha !

16th : Ask for the permission again to leave, please close the door if u r the last.

17th : HOORAY ! U have done it successfully ! It's not a matter if u do it badly (like what I did last time)
At least u tried. hehehehe !

18th : REMEMBER to get back your folder. It's important. Don't leave it. Rmb to thank the clerk tooooo !

1. Menteri Pengajian Tertinggi (full name please, including his title, don't just name it in a rude way)
2. Menteri Pelajaran
3. A few ministers name that you cna rmb their name and posts easily. Grab few.
4. Klinik 1 Malaysia (for medical students)
5. Wawasan 2020 & 1 Malaysia Concept (HOT)
6. The current issues related to the course u study.
7. Your course, what r u going learn from the course.
8. The reasons you study the course
9. The country you choose to persue your tertiary education, and the reasons.
10. Compare gradutes from local U and oversea U.
11. Many other else(you can ask me, I lazy adi)


Appreciate the chance U have, don't waste it, don't be greedy.
What U have to do after the interview is relax and pray.
