关于SPM后 的路途
我相信有许多毕业生 依然不了解前途的方向吧?很迷茫,对吧?
经过本校的辅导老师 + 网上资料 + 教育展 + 升学刊号
我整理整理了些 大体上,有几条路 :)
而每条路 都有它的好与坏 有兴趣请看看
I gonna post some useful info about study options after SPM

* 1.5 years
* Equivalent to A level
* 4 subjects (min) 5 " (max)
* Well, it's recognized by ALLLLLL Universities and colleges YES !
* Cheapest course, gov pay all
* Major exam kills you, kononnya the HARDEST exam.
* 1.5 years
* Accepted by ALL Universities (remark 1)
* Divided into AS Level & A2 Level, which you can differ taking the A2 if you have not done well in the AS lvl)
* Min 3 subjects.
* ALL subjects conducted in ENGLISH !
* 2 UK examination board available in MY : University of Cambridge International Examination (CIE) (High recommended by me if u taking A levels) and Edexcel.
* Fee : About 15k. Depends :)
* NO MORE SCHOOOOOOOOL UNIFORM !
* 1 year ONLY
* Everything is FREEEEE !
* You are given accommodation (have no option, must stay thr)
* It's accepted by all LOCAL-U + certain oversea universities (ex: Nottingham) + certain IPTS only (ex:IMU)
* Once u get in this = U 100% get in local U, if yr academic performance is moderate
* Gov pays u food allowance timm
* The exam is EASY SHIT. Can easy score 4.00
* However, it picks randomly, 10% places given to Non-Bumi
* And you can't apply for it anymore, deadline was 01/12/2010
* 2 years
* U can work once u get the cert
* The chance to get in universities is MUCHHHHH lower
* 1-2 years
* Prepares yrself to get in university
* It's specific : If u study foundation of science, then U ONLY can hit science subjects if u going on to a Degree.
* If u take foundation in college A, but u wish to go degree in college/university B, NO WAYYYYYY !! You have to go degree in the same institution
* 1 year
* Accepted by ALL Australia's university and most universities oversea (but not local U)
* 5 subjects
* 50% course work + 50% exam = 100% result
* It's Jan intake, AND ONLY ONE INTAKE A YEAR !
* 1 year
* 6 subjects
* Accepted by almost all oversea universities (but NOT local U)
* 70% course work + 30% exam = 100% result
* only one compulsory subj : ENG
* Cannot absent for no reason, marks will deducted from total result.
* 4 years (1 or 2 year in Malaysian's college, and the remaining in America)
* Study American universities
* 1 or 2 years in the college, and the remaining years in the American Universities of your choice.
* Costly
* Duration depends on what u learn
* Short course
* Study time is flexible
* Learn BASICS only, lower rate to get employed.
* 1-3 years (depends)
* Ex : ACCA, quicker route to qualifying as accountant
**Remark 1 : From my school counselor's words, if u hope to get in local-U, u r not recommended to take A-levels. Commonsense, those who take A-level are actually planning to go abroad. :)
1.IPTA - Local University (Ex: UM, UPM, UKM, USM, UTM)
2.IPTA courses are CHEAP, almost negligible, and the way they intake new students is : Matrik comes first, then STPM, lastly only they consider to pick Diploma students.
3.IPTA have rights to change the course u prefer.
4.It's quite hard to get in IPTA (except Matrik students),because bumiputra comes 1st.
5.IPTS - University Swasta / College
6.It's costly, but some how major ppl believe that it's better than IPTA.(actually both are the same)
7.Matrik - Malaysian Matriculation
